Upside to Everything

The “upside” to sitting at a collision center waiting for an insurance adjuster. We don’t get this view in the middle of the big city that often.

It’s all about how you look at your circumstances that will determine how your day goes.

Nighttime

I was going to go through some photos because I have some awesome  shots for the Nighttime weekly photo challenge, but decided instead to step outside this evening.

Bad idea! We had a short shower today and the West Nile mosquitoes were on the attack! Best I could do!

Go outside and observe nature. Give!

This is the letter G of the ABC’s of Genuine Happiness.    Every few days I will be posting a phrase beginning with the next letter of the alphabet seeking your opinion or view on the phrase and how it relates to genuine happiness.

Nothing more precious than my granddaughter observing the flowers in nature to give to her Grammo. Happiness indeed!

What is your opinion on the letter G:   Go outside and observe nature.  Give!

Leave a comment, write a post on your blog and ping back to me or tag your post with “ABC’s of Happiness” so I can find you in my reader.

Until next time … be thinking about the letter H:  Hug often.  Help others.

Serenity Prayer

image

This is what I opened my eyes to this morning.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

Amen.
