How Do I Tell My Boss?

After weeks of tests, medication and other things I would prefer not to delve into, I finally had my gall bladder removed last Friday.   I hope and pray this has been the cause of all my physical ailments and I can get on with being my normal healthy, vibrant outgoing self.

This has been life changing for me.  Having almost a week to recover, I have had a lot of time to dig deep within and ponder about life in general.   I have come to the following conclusion about my life:

I am faced with a dilemma of how I am going explain this to my boss?
And … Do you think he will cut my salary?

  1. Your boss shouldn’t cut your salary.

    1. If only we could get paid to sleep all day 🙂

  2. You say…”Boss, I need a nap …. a very, very LONG nap. I promise we will ALL find great benefit from it. And just think, without the need of an assistant, the costs will be a lot less! 🙂 ”
Seriously, I hope your recovery is quick and you are back to feeling 100% soon! I can hardly wait to meet the “new & improved” Monique! Take care of yourself.

    1. I feel so much better already. But to be honest…I don’t know if its because of my GB being removed, or all the rest I’ve gotten lately. Either way ….

      1. Well, I’m sure the rest doesn’t hurt…but hopefully, it’s a combination of both!

  3. Rest is a wonderful thing.
I hope you find a good balance soon!

    1. It’s nice to hear from you! Thanks!

  4. Gall bladder – you’re better off without it. I never missed mine when they took it.

    1. I’ve been feeling so much better, was a long road to travel!
